Mud Pie Originals began in a season of change, reconnection, and new beginnings.

After having my first son in 2023 and returning to a corporate role in 2024, I found myself struggling with balance. I felt stressed, creatively unfulfilled, and not as present with my family as I wanted to be. Over time, I realised I was looking for something simpler and more aligned: to be present, to provide, and to create.

I’ve worked with clay since 2003, but it was over the Christmas holidays in 2024 that the early ideas for Mud Pie Originals began to form.

At the start of 2026, after the arrival of my second baby and a retrenchment from my corporate role, I found myself at a crossroads with an opportunity to build something more meaningful for my family and myself. Mud Pie Originals is the result of that shift.

Today, I create handmade ceramic pieces designed to hold meaning in everyday life: from celebrating new babies and beloved pets, to marking weddings and special moments, or simply creating a beautiful, cosy space to gather around the table.

My hope is that each piece brings a sense of warmth, connection, and quiet joy into your home.
